    Problem with burned DVD-R

I am a newbie to DVD Authoring so please bear with me...
I ripped Harry Potter with DVDShrink into a folder C:\Temp
Compression level was 30% to fit onto a DVD-R,
The files were created fine in C:\Temp so I fired up Nero 6, Chose the DVD Vidio Option and dragged all the files into the Red Folder,
Nero Burned the DVD-R with no apparent problems, however when I insert the newly created DVD into my DVD Drive my machine hangs! and then Crashes, an I doing something wrong??

I would try using a different brand of DVD-R.

      Yeah, good idea,

I got 10 of these cheap, but they could be expensive if I can't get em to work....

      Whats a good recommended brand?

Ritek has proved to be of consistent quality for me...

Ritek G04's have always worked well for me, but be aware of media that is not grade A. Traxdata is on average about 15p more expensive than other Ritek discs, but it is the premium Ritek range, so is guaranteed good

            I use imation DVD+R's and FUJIFILM DVD+RW's

so far, everyone ive done has been perfect, try to avoid fancy looking DVD Recordable's with color labels, or different colored DVD recordable disk.

I've heard great things about Fujifulms media, though it is more expensive than Riteks i believe. I have used an Imation disc before, what sort of price comparison to Riteks are we talking about?

                Thanks for the help!

My Disc's play fine in my stand alone DVD Player, the problem lies with my DVD Drives in the PC.

I will resolve this so thanks for your help and advice...

                Regards
