shaky videos

Need help from anyone with any details...I was wondering what codec would I need to stop a shaky screen when running avi files...it plays and all but the screen won't stop shaking. Please help.

i ran into this same "shaking" problem while trying to watch an Xvid-encoded AVI video. but after i installed the ffdshow filter (http://sourceforge.net/projects/ffdshow/), the shaking stopped when i opened the AVI video again in Windows Media Player and the video played very smoothly. give this a try. good luck.
