"Sync" problems

    Why don't you first try the following on th original UNCUT 97 minute video?:

    1) Load the Xvid file into the most recent version of either VirtualDub or VirtualDubMod

    2) Set BOTH "Video" and "Audio" to "Direct Stream Copy"

    3) Select "Check for errors"

    4) Select "Mask bad frames"

    5) Save with a new filename


    See if this makes your 23 second delay "disappear"...

      sometimes TMPGenc gives be an incompatible file box when i hit start. I just click OK and hit start again and it starts. be sure to "Load" the template.

        lol, maybe I should have been in newbie forum, I never knew that V/D could correct errors! I will try that next, as soon as this file finishes on TMPGEnc

          A 23 sec gap is a long delay...probably came from bad files when you split the vid...looks like setarip's solution is the ticket for a total fix.
