    Make VCD from high definition DIVX file

    I converted a DVD to Divx with flask mpeg using the high definition profile but i'm not able to convert it to vcd. Virtual dub and TMpeg open the file but are unable to decompress the video. Please help.

    Are you able to play the DivX-compressed .AVI that you created?


    1) Load the video file into VirtualDub (or one of its many variants) or NanDub

    2) From the "File" dropdown menu, select "File Information"

    3) Post (here) EVERYTHING you see (BOTH video and audio information), or post a screen capture .jpg of the information box

      you can convert the dvd directly to (s)vcd with dvd2svcd.
