IMPORTANT Splitting with VirtualDub

Some posters have indicated resultant audio/video synch problems when they've used VirtualDub to either split or cut a .AVI video. Be advised of the following:

1) This problem does not occur with older (and still very useable) versions of VirtualDub, up to and including v.1.4.D.

2) It appears that the most recent version, 1_4_8, alleviates this problem, which apparently arose somewhere between versions 1_4_5 through 1_4_7.

i cant believe that virtual dub works fine in last version too

i tried and always had sync probs when editing the video, perhaps the reason because i didnt cut them on key frames?? are there any other possible abilities i didnt use to make sync (note: i cant like the guide how to sync the audio afterwards, its not accurate at all, i ve tried it 100% correctly)

also have the same prob with nandub 1.0
but with my video editing tool i bought it works just fine
