    SVCD playback

I have an mpg movie that i've converted into svcd format to burn to disk, problem is nothing i have will play it (bsplayer, wmp9, divx5). The file was converted using TMPGenc and when gspot tries to render it says directshow failed. I've tried nimo codecs (and pretty much anything else i can find!) and i'm tearing my hair out. Can anyone help?

Use a software DVD player such as WinDVD...

(SVCD format is intended for playback on a standalone DVD player and television combination. If you only intend to playback on your PC, why convert the file?)

What did u do with the file that came out upside down. Did you resolve it or just stick the monitor on its end, like someone i know did?

            Orphius,
I have started going to yoga classes so i can find my centre and stand on my head for 2 hours to watch my upside down movie.
