can't view in full screen mode

    Hi

I am hoping sombody can help

all of a sudden I could no longer view any of the movies I have in my collection.

I was running Nimo Codec, wim Media Codecs 9 & maybe a few others. All was fine.

suddenly I could not view anything!! - I tried uninstalling all the codecs, & reinstalling - did not help

tried removing from thru control panel ... did not help...

tried removing & reinstalling Windoze Media player & IE ... did not help

gspot told me I could view the vids .... but could not...

eventually I reinstalled my OS .... which seem to have dones the trick...

except I cannot view any movies in full screen mode & watching them @ 200%

if anyone has come across this b4, or can offer a solution - please do!!

    Many thanks

wow... thats... a lot... of... elipses...
are your system specs up to it? youcan try to lower your resolution to something lower to unstress the video card.

    what are your system specs?

am running an Athlon 2200 with 512 mb ram on an asus motherboard. Radon 7000 64mb DDR video card with TV out. 2 HDD - both 7200 RPM totalling 120GB,

      video @ 1024*768 @ 32bit colour.

lowering the res. made no diff

running Win 2k as an OS - fully updated to patch 3 (as I have heard 4 is rather buggy)

I had this exact problem, I never found out the root cause so I circumvented it by using the old media player, the little boxy one. That works fine.
