Xvid?!?!

Whats up, I am pretty new to this DivX and Xvid world. the other day I d/l an Xvid movie on my computer (all my DivX movies work fine and look amazing) and when i double clicked on the movie to watch the Xvid formatted movie i can only hear the sound. The wierd thing is.... In the left collum where it shows a picture of the item you click on, it shows me the picture, and my DivX player changes size as well... Any suggestions on how to see the movie instead of listen

try using ffdshow instead of divx and xvid.

the problem has prolly something to do with the color system used for output compared to what color system your screen-card expect.

divx and xvid are 2 different codecs but you can use ffdshow to playback both of them.
