"graphic card require to be installed"

what do you mean? inserting the card in an AGP slot?
installing drivers? installing OS (like before installing the card, so it doesn't confuse mobo RAM with graphic card RAM)?

    give some more details

      Ok, Sorry.
Yes I want to buy this graphic card. Someone told me that the card only works with DDR RAM, I have the common 256 mb of RAM so I was wondering if I have to buy the card plus the DDR RAM I don't have or only the graphic card.

You don't need to buy the DDR RAM for your system. The graphic card is like standalone component, so if you still have one slot for AGP or PCI (I remembered Nvidia Geforce4 is AGP), you can buy it. Don't worry about other suggestion that you need to have DDR RAM.
Even your computer use SDRAM 100Mhz or DRAM, it wouldn't cause any problem for your new graphic card...
        Thank you for asking.

              nithro,

Just make sure that the card you are buying will fit in your motherboard (i.e. AGP cards need to be installed in AGP slots, PCI cards in PCI slots, and vice versa).
