Audio And Video Not Syncing

im using the latest version of divx player. the ad supported one. i got a movie, and periodicly, the sound went out of sync, including the last hour of the film. i paused it for awhile, hoping it may catch up, but no. what can i do to get it going? the video is perfect other than a lil skipping.

ive got a 2.0ghz processor, so i doubt it could be that. anyone have a clue?

Have a look at the audio sync using Virtual Dub and see if you can re-align it.

Does the video exhibit the same problem if you play it under Windows Media Player?
