    BsPlayer problem with "flying logo"

    Good Morning,

Weird thing (for me anyway) happened last night as I was watching a SVCD .mpeg file on my puter. I got a flying logo all over the
screen (it used to play fine) and a message about something from "elcard" expiring (can't remember the exact words).
I've been able to watch movie files on Bs player for quit some time and this hasn't happened b4. I am sorry if I am in the wrong in asking this here but I couldn't find an appropriate thread about "Flying Logo" and Bs player. It plays fine in WM player 9 and I can also burn it to CD-R and watch it on my standalone. It is just the Bs Player that goes funny. Is their a "time limit" to some codec that I need to pay for or maybee it's something that I need to reinstall ?

ps. thought I had this sussed but life's full of surprises now ain't it ?ds.

Need to add one thing friends.

the message that ran under the movie (I just recalled) said
something about "Moonlight" and that I should go to the site
    http://moonlight.co.il/ for more information. I didn't understand
why since I am NOT using the moonlight Elcard Mpeg player.

Any help in this matter pals will leave me forever in debt.

    Still a Noobie

It's because Moonlight MPEG2 decoder. You need to purchase a license if you want that flying logo to disapear

        Hi DAvenger.
        Thank you for answering m8
The problem is I have been watching (ie had ?) an mpeg2 decoder for 10-12 months with no flying logo whatsoever so
I don't get it. Can it have anything to do with the fact that I
removed Quicktime player totally ? Does Qtimeplayer include
a Mpeg2 decoder that would work on Bsplayer maybee ?

Quicktime has nothing to do whatsoever with BSPlayer. It might have removed the MPEG2 codec as you thought. Try Quicktime Alternative instead of QuickTime:
The Final Builds Site is a web-site with links to the latest free software, installation instructions, FAQ and more...

Or you could try installing Tsunami Filter Pack 3.99 located at the software section.

            Thanks WildmanJoe.

Will install the Tsunamipack and post the outcoming as soon
            as I get home.

            Appriciate both of your answers

              I'm All Smiles

              Hi Guys,

Been "codec sniping" all evening to get rid of everything and
then installed Tsunami 3,9,9 from ddlooping's dld site.
Just wanted to tell you that everything works here again and
so far no problems whatsoever with "flying logo".
I guess I installed Moonlight MPEG2 decoder a month ago when
I changed PC and that it was set to use it by default. Annyway
nomore moonlight MPEG Decoder but still good picture

Thank you for your kind help.
