How to play music video that is .vob file

G'day I downloaded a large music video through a news server that is a .vob file but am having trouble playing it. Picture is perfect no problem there but sound is skipping & video slows down. I've tried using classic windows media player, MP9, DIVX Player 2.1 but still same problem. Can anyone help me with this? Also I have similar problem with a video that has XVID MPEG4 codec, I did download some sort of codec to fix it but haven't got a clue how to use it & is it possible to burn this vid onto blank cd rom & keep the sound & vid in sync, using adaptic cd creator? Thnx for help & I'm using win98 SE, pentium 111. cheers.

Judging from your pc description you may not have enough computing power to play it from your hd.

Ok thanks, I have been able to play those m2V coded vids & also
I converted a large avi video with XVID codec using TMpegEnc & video played & burned perfectly but quality not quite as good some faint lines appeared in playback. cheers.
