    Oversized divx rips

    Hey ,

    Ive been getting alot of help from The Edge on useing gknot as my new ripping tool and im getting really use to useing it now and the other programs besweet and dvdtoavi but i have one small problem the movies i rip are abit to large my latest movie ended up being 789mg done at 576 x 240 im looking at trying to get my movies between 700 - 750mg and not loose any quality
    The Edge checked my log file and said everything was set up right
    so any help on how anyone makes these high quality 700mg movies would be great thanks

    use dvdshrink it is awesome you can just re-encode it to fit onto a disk and doesnt lose any quality at all

        DVD Shrink CANNOT be used to compress .AVI files - or anything other than DVDs...

                1) A frequently used method is to cut off the end credits (using VirtualDub)

                2) Another option is to reduce the audio's bitrate
