A hard One!
Ok Here I go!
I downloaded a video on Kazaa, tried to play it on Mplayer but all I got was a black screen, I had the audio but not the video.
I checked the video information ( it was a .mpg ) and I got this :
Video format: No video stream
Audio format: MPEG-2 LSF, Layer *NOT SUPPORTED*
I saw that the files was a stream file ( not seekable ) so I said, maybe it's a ASF ... so I change the extension for a .asf ... Same thing is happening.
I tried to repair it will ASF tools but I was always crashing
I tried to convert it to .avi with virtual dub but I got the famous error : "Couldn't locate decompressor for format 'WMV1' (unknow)"
Help me please!
