How to repair a old video?

    Hi!

I have got some old cartoons, and I would like to use a software in order to repair the image/sound quality! It works, but cause it's a copy from an old VHS, there are many "noises" in the image! Does anyone know any such software?

    Thanks in advance!

Virtual DUB is probly your best bet. Hell Virtual DUB is always the best bet

As for cleaning up the noice and fixing the sound quality it;s going to proly be rather difficult. You might be able to clean it up a little but but theres an old saying....

    "Crap in. Crap out."

You generaly cant capture something at a higher quality level then the original source.

I do know there is alot of cartoon preservation groups out there that might be able to help. Preserving old 80's cartoons (Masters of the Universe, GI Joe, Transformers, Super Mario Bros. Super Show etc....) is catching on pretty big.

Try searching Google for some 80's cartoon colector sites.

What are you trying to preserve BTW?

      Hi!

You helped me a lot! Thanks!!!
The cartoon I have mentioned is Groizer X, a anime from 80's, here in Brazil it was called "O Pirata do espaço", and I keep on liking it!

I am going to try what I suggested!

      Best Regards!
