Plays Black % White and streched...Why??

After I burn a DVD+R it plays ok on my computer, but it is blak and white and it is streche on the tv. The subtitle are about 3 mm and the heads of the people are about half the tv screen. I used TDK DVD+R and Aopen DVD+RW same on both of them.

Please help

Is it possibel to get the streched black and white imge, because the original DVD is PAL and I try to play it on North American DVD Player Pioneer DV-444
Please help
