See if you can figure this one out!

    Ok, here are the details:

    I'm using DVD Shrink.
    I'm using Nero 5.5.10
    I'm using Memorex DVD+R
    My burner is NEC DVD+R

I have two DVD Players. 1)Panasonic-has played everything that I have burned. 2)Cinevision 650-Only played a backup I made of Beverly Hills Ninja, which I used DVDdecrypter to read and write with a Memorex DVD+r 2.4x write. But the movie was under 4.7 GB and it was an exact duplicate. What is confusing about this is, there goes the idea that my player doesn't play DVD+R and that the Memorex DVD+R is the problem.

I have DVDR (not sure if it DVD-r or +r) of concerts that work fine in the Cinevision, not just the ones that I make. I've tried using Nero DVD Video and DVD UDF/ISO. I've checked on dvdrhelp.com if my dvd player is compatable with DVD+r and it is (obviously if one of my backups worked on it) but it did say that it had problems with MPEG.

All I want is my DVD's to work in as many players as possible. Please help????

Perhaps I'm getting a little slow in my old age but - exactly what is your question/problem?

The problem is I could get one DVD+R backup I made to work on my Cinevision Dvd player (all work on my panasonic), but not the other DVD+r's I have made. I can't figure out what the problem is since the dvd player does play dvdr's and is compatable with my media. And I know the DVD's are fine because they work on my panasonic dvd player.

Exactly what happens when you place one of the burned DVD+Rs in your Cinevision Dvd player? Do you see a message on the player? if so, what is it?

If it just doesn't automatically start the DVD's menu, did you try pressing the "Play" button?
