right the prob is i have a dvd and it plays on my home dvd player so i did a copy for my father when he tryed it the dvd wouldnt play it said (no pal) i looked and the dvd is ntsc is there anyway to change it to pal and if so will this sort the prob out please help me

There is no easy way to convert the DVD's format. The simplest thing to do is purchase a new DVD player for your father that iscapable of handling both formats (Not very costly)...
