MPEG 2 Bouncing squares watermark

Hi All

Ive got a problem with my Mpeg 2 files, whem I capture files they turn out Streched vertically and have a small grid of squares bouncing about all over the place, with files which I downloaded theres just the Bouncy squares.

Anyone seen this before and know of a solution

The "small grid of squares bouncing about" is generated by the ELECARD codec for MPEG2 ...

thanks for the info, I thought I had some sort of virus.

I dont suppose you know how to get rid of it??

Uninstall the ELECARD codec for MPEG2 ...

Yep Unistall the Elecard Codec, easier said than done.

I did it by deleting every entry in regedit which refered to elecard, the elecard software itself cannot be found.

And now I can´t play Mpeg 2 files , great

Virtually all of the many codec "packs" available for download include MPEG2 codecs/filters...
