    Weird White Box jumping around during video playback

    i am having a problem with a white box that jumps around when i play my video files...it happens in WIndows Media Player, WInamp and other programs....it only does it to certain files, i think the ones that i am tryin to play are mpeg2

    I NEED HELP PLEASE

      Sunds like Elecard (also known as moonlight) filters are in use to me. Is the whitebox realy a icon consisting of 8 or so smaller white boxes with 1 black box in the lower right corner? It's been a long time sence I used Elecard codecs so I dont remember how the icon looks.

      Those filters arnt free and when the trial time expires they annoy the user by moving that icon around the screen reminding you to pay for em.

          Yes thats what the icon looks like...do you know how i get rid of those..

              The only way to get rid of it is buy the decoders. There is no such thing as free MPEG-2 filters (curtesy of rayaltes for licencing the technology).

              If you do run into some free filters then one of two thimgs is going on...

              1.) There pirated
              2.) There crappy
