    Canon mv630i help needed-analogue capture

    Hi all,
Having recently bought the canon mv630i camcorder I'm getting to grips with it slowly. One area which is really bugging me is capturing footage from a VHS cassette into my camcorder which I can then edit. I need someone to tell me step by step just how to go about this. The manual I have just ain't clear.
    1. What cables do I need?
    2. I presume one end of whatever cable must go to the camcorder but where does the other end go?...TV, video ???

Boy this is driving me crazy.
Please put me out of my misery.
    TIA,Pete

Use RCA composite yellow wire from video out on VCR to video in on camcorder....and White RCA composite from audio out on VCR to audio in on camcorder. Your camcorder (and VCR) probably came with these wires. If your camcordr AND VCR both support "S"Video...you can use the SVideo cable for the Video...but you still need the RCA Composite for the audio.
