    23,970fps or 23,976fps

    In some of the guides i see on how to rip avi to vcd it mentions video fps at 23,970fps for intsnace. I have been getting audio sync problems and, is it because im choosing this option in tmpgenc when the video source of theses files are 23,976fps??

    Does that 6fps cause the prob? If so what do i do?

    cheers

            while this subject came up...

            23.976 = film
            29.970 = NTSC
            ??.??? = PAL (I never knew the true framerate for PAL. I'll gues 24.970... )

            Also I have recently set my video timming on my PC to a refresh of 59.940 (29.970 x 2). Is that the "best" way to go for NTSC TV on a PC or is there a more recomended setting?

                Hmm... Odd to see a framerate thats not a decimel. Acctualy now that I asked a dumb question I relised I coulda just stuck in my PAL Band of Brothers DVD and checked the playback freamerate... Oh well thanks dude
