here is the problem i ripped couplr of DVDZ then put them on cdz..
with high resolution DVD on to 2x702 CDZ

then i lost my hard disc and all the codecs and plugins i have been installed after i bought a new one i installed only DIVX 4.12
now when i'm playing the movies I ripped the picture in full screen the it has too many pixels in it and on my first harddisc when i switch to full screen it looks like some kind of smoothness filter covers the movie but now the filter is there anymore i want know what i need exactly coz i dont want to install all the plugins i have again coz this did to me some trouble

i'm using windows XP pro.
Geforce 2 MX400
P4 1.7 with 256 RDRAM

when installing the divx 4.12 codec it gives you the option of using 4.12 to play 3.11 divx too. i guess you have chosen yes.

uninstall 4.12 codec, install 3.11 codec, then re-install 4.12 but when give the option choose 'DO NOT USE 4.12 TO PLAY DIVX3.11"
then try playin the movie again.

or dont install 4.12 at all.

I encoded the dvdz with 4.12 is 'll i be able to run this movies with 3.11...
