    DVD Starter problems

    I get anerror message whenI use the DVD starter program.
    "Cannot find video_ts in the folder"
    I have XP and Intervideo Windvd. Used Smart ripper for playing the file.
    Can somebody help me to play ripped DVD's they are still in the VOB file format.

    If you've ripped the entire DVD (including .IFO and .BUP files) to your hard drive, they should be in a"Video_ts" folder that should be in another folder named anything you desire, such as "Movie".

    Then, from the desktop, press the "Start" radio button at the lower left of the screen. Select "Run". Type (without quotes) "subst M: C:\Movies (make certain to type a space between "M:" and "C:\Movies"). Run WinDVD and select the M drive. Select "Autoplay". Press OK. Your "DVD" may start playing. If not, simply exit WinDVD and then restart it.

    When you've finished your session, from the desktop Start button, select "Run" and type (without quotes) subst M: /d (make certain to type a space between "M:" and "/d".
