Need Instruction to burn video DVD

Would some one please show me or point me to where I can get step by step instruction to burn home video to DVD? I have Pioneer A03, Gear Pro DVd. I used Ulead studio 6 to capture video in Mpeg2 format when I drag that clip into the project, GearPro DVD didn't like it. It ask for video_ts file and.ifo file. I have no clue, please help. Thanks
