    Editing

    Hi,
I really need help. I copy a DVD to my hard drive and I want to re editing it. I used to make new movies with adobe premiere and I can't open this files on it. There is three diferent kinds of extensions: VOB, IFO and BUP.
The only one that I can Watch is the .VOB, using windows media player. the others extensions, .IFO and .BUP files i can't even watch. There is any chance to convert all this files to a file that I can be able to edit in adobe premiere or windows movie maker? how can I do It? Shoul I have a crack?
PS: When i try to open the IFO and BUP extensions the computer can't find a program to open it? Do you know wich program I should select?
PS2: I wanna make a movie but it can have low resolution. I do not intend to have the same resolution as DVD files.
Thanks a lot for your help,
    Sabrina

Merge the VOB's of the actual video (starting with VTS_01_1...the first over 1GB file...open it to confirm it's the start). If Premiere still doesn't like it demux the video/audio streams out using TMPGenc MPEGTools Demultiplex...and remux in simple multiplex as MPEG2 Program VBR and make it a MPEG2.
