I'm trying to encode anime (at 29.97 FPS) in DivX using invese telecine and it's not working. I'm ripping the dvd, converting it to 6000 kbps/sec MPEG-2, load it in Virtual Dub, Set Inverse Telecine (29.97 to 24 FPS), Encode, and it still looks like shit. I dunno, the interlacing is odd. It not 3 regular and 2 interlaced frames. I get weird interlacing patterns. At one part, the entire ending theme has EVERY frame interlaced. during the anime it weird. Sometimes 5 frames aren't inerlaced, some time 3 in a row are, sometime 4 are. It's really screwed up. It does that no matter WHAT anime of mine i try to encode. 
I know it can be possible cause i've downloaded anime episodes at 24 FPS and they look great. I dunno, i need help. Either help to get a good Inverse Telecining program, (i've also tried IVTC in TMPG), or i need to be pointed out what im doing wrong.
