    Best card for a G5

What is the BEST card for my new G5? Will any card work as long as it's an 8x AGP? Hey I'm an audio guy and I have the best as far as thats concerned, but I'd rather ask some seasoned pros here on this forum for some educated info!

depends what u wanna do with the card? .......if ur hardcode gammer u need some highpriced card. if ur not then any good 3d accelerated card is enough either 8x or 4x.

decent cards = geforce 4200, geforc fx 5200, 5600, ATI Radeon 9100,9200, 8500, 9500/9600 (se models low frequency)

all in the range of 100 $ some may go little more some other way,.
Seems like as soon you buy somehing, v. 2 comes out 1.5 times as fast!..!

The cards we were looking @ like the nvidia geforce fx 9500 ultra isnt no 1-2 hundred dollar card.... try about $500. I just want to know what's the BEST card made for the G5. So that would mean AGP 8X and Panther compatable.
      Thanks...

there is no card made thats best for g5, otherwise it would hav been stated somwhere. again it is specific to ur needs and prefrences......

the card u specify is almost top of line , may i also suggest radeon 9800 XT, better antialising, maybe even faster. its faster then normal 9800 pro though.

also look at the line of quadro's and fire GL, frm nvidia and ATi.
