VHS to Hard Drive ?

HI all, new here, and really not a tech, so please bear with me.

I want to take my vhs and store them on my hard drive to burn on dvd, or mpeg, can anyone reccomend a good v card that will allow me to do this as painles as possible, I have a p3 800 Dell optiplex, 256 ram. Thanks
