If this is an oft repeated topic, please bear with me as my search of the forum did not reveal any ready answer to my problem.
I am using DVDShrink 2.3, TDK 420N DVD+R/+RW and Nero 6.0.0.19. I followed the excellent guides at dvdshrink.info and made two backups, one with 20% compression and another with no compression but in two parts (disks). I used the DVD-Video mode. The disk with compression was burned at 4X and the two without compression were burned at 2.4X. The newly burned dvds have both the VIDEO_TS folder with all the correct files and the empty AUDIO_TS folder.
Now here is the interesting part: the dvds play perfectly on the TDK or a Hitachi dvd-rom player using Powerdvd and also on my older non-progressive Panasonic A120 standalone player. However, the progressive scan Panasonic RP62 standalone player fails to recognize or load any of the DVD+R disks.
Is this problem specific to RP-62 and is there a solution?
