when using a program i have called dvd2svcd which incorporates tmpgenc to encode my files i get a problem with my files in that if the film is divx encoded or xvid encoded(no matter which ones) as long as there is ac3 sound i can convert into a dvd no probs at all with good quality.
however take the same type of file with 0x0055(MP3) ID'd as MPEG-1 Layer 3 as the sound codec and when it is converted the sound file is .wav and the video is .mpv. the problem occurs when i put the .wav sound into into dvd author it says it is an illegal audio file. it accepts the video fine but wont allow the audio can anyone suggest what im doing wrong or what settings i havent got correct it would be most appreciated.
