common problem and pretty easy to fix and nothing is wrong with your movie. It is commonly caused in my experiance by incompatbilitys in codecs. FFDShow at the moment is not fully compatable with XviD sence the new 1.0 and above XviD codecs for example. ffdshow will be brought up to speed soon enough though.
If your using ffdshow to play the video look through the options and there should be an option to flip the video. -
1) Load the original video file into VirtualDub (or one of its many variants) or NanDub
2) From the "File" dropdown menu, select "File Information"
3) Post (here) EVERYTHING you see (BOTH video and audio information), or post a screen capture .jpg of the information boxComment

From what I THINK I see, your audisotream is probably in Variable Bitrate ("VBR") .MP3 format - which TMPGEnc cannot process properly. To have TMPGEnc process the file properly, I'd suggest you do the follwoing:
A) Make sure you have an XviD (different than DivX) codec installed
B) make sure you have the FFDShow filter installed
C) Converting .AVIs with VBR-MP3 Audio for use with TMPGEnc
Using VirtualDubMOD to Convert "VBR" .MP3 to Uncompressed .WAV
1) Load the .AVI file into VirtualDubMOD (a different program than the standard VirtualDub)
2) From the "Video" dropdown menu, select "Direct Stream Copy"
3) From the "Streams" dropdown menu, select "Stream List" - and rightclick on the audio stream, then select "Full Processing Mode" - then click on "OK"
4) From the "File" dropdown menu, save .AVI with a new filenameLast edited by setarip; 24 Jan 2004, 05:32 AM.Comment
