mediaplayer prob

my prob is i have a movie and i cant view it
ms-mpeg4 v3 that's the video compression i see in the file property. i tried the playa,wmplayer,powerdivx,and even PowerDVD 4 but i can open it.
when i try to open it in windows media player there is sound only and the duration of the movie is 3456435 hours...
btw in windows explorer when i just select the file i can see it's preview to the left...
so any one can help

hm why not try the codec update u can download at microsofts download page
just search for codec there
