No playback after uninstalling codecs

I uninstalled: Nimo Codec Pack, Kazaa Codec Pack, and everything else I could find, AC3, 3ivx, and went through my registery deleting all the xvid and divx I could find and also went through my system32 folder and deleted the same xvid and divx dll's. Then courtesy of Gspot, I deleted some old hacked divx dll's that were probably causing all the green blocks when I played files

Then I installed the latest xvid (koepi), 3ivx, tsunami's filters, divx g400 filter, bsplayer, the latest ffdshow, and Direct X.

but the problem is that I can't play anything, only on Virtualdub was I able to open an mpeg after it "parsed interleavened mpg"

my computer cpu also shoots up to almost one hundred even when I try to open a small video file, and none play. also the green arrow of direct vobsub pops up also, but there is no sound, no video.

I'm at my wit's end.

You have probably uninstalled important
dll's which player use to play your movies.
If you have made a backup of your registry i would recommend to put it back.

What about the players?
