AC3 vs DTL vs surround sound option

    Hi,
In many DVD movies, there a 3 options for audio: AC3 5.1, DTS 5.1, and AC3 2.0. My questions below are related in "re-author" mode only (not "full backup")
    1) If I picked only AC3 5.1 option, would my backup play in DTS 5.1 or AC3 2.0 hardware setup (and also in my PC)? Same question if I picked DTS 5.1 only and playback hardware is only surround or AC3 5.1.
    2) If I back up all audio options, then I must back up the menu so I can select audio option when playback. Is this correct? Any alternative? If this is correct, then I believe DVD Shrink does not support menu backup in "re-author" mode. How can I backup a menu (to choose audio options) and main movie only?

    Thanks,
    Andrew

No - You can simply use the standalone DVD player's remote control to select the audiostream (Press "audio" or "language")...

Read the following thread (Click on the link) for creating an active menu after re-authoring in DVD Shrink:
