NEED HELP!!! Dvd playback question!!

Some movies don´t work in my standalone dvd player.. doesn´t matter what dvd-r i´ll try! what can be wrong?? they all work on cheap dvd players!! my is a DENON 1400...really good´

well it doesnt matter what dvdr i burn!! it´s something with movies? 95% of all movie work!!but the othe 5% won´t go in the denon!!! what´s diffrent with them??

Hi,

No, it's not the movies. If you have an RW or an extra -R, try this :

Download (if you don't have already) DVDDecrypter v. 3.1.9.0 (a freeware). and install, set write speed to MAX (can change later if want to).

Download and install IMG Tools CLASSIC v. 0.91.1 (a freeware), available at : Coujo.de.

Download (if you don't have already ) DVDShrink v. 3.0 Beta 5 (a freeware).

Download and install SmartRipper v. 2.41 (a freeware).

Download and install "force aspi" (a freeware), needed for SmartRipper (do a 'net search, radified.com) many times.


Put problem movie disc in drive. Start up computer dvd software dvd player (WINDVD, POWERDVD, etc.) and play movie. Then start up smartRipper, after 30 seconds or so, turn off computer software dvd player.

On SmartRipper interface (left side) , click FILES. Click on box to left side of file names, in scroll down at center of interface ("check" each box : or click the all button below the boxes (if you can see it, it's hard for many to see)). Then click start.

After all disc files are ripped by SmartRipper to the hdd, turn SmartRipper off. Start up DVDShrink 3.0 Beta 5. Click the OPEN FILES and then find the disc's files which you ripped with SmartRipper and then do the 'Shrink to them (delete extras, compress, etc.).

After shrunk to ~ 4464MB size (compressed), turn DVDShrink off. Start up IMG Tools CLASSIC v. 0.91.1. set the paths as the help section of download says (can reference this help guide any time). Then, finally click the IMAGE button on CLASSIC.

Then, CLASSIC will make an ISO image and automatically DVDDecrypter will burn that movie at MAX speed or 4X, if supported. (You set burn Speed in DVDDecrypter to MAX before starting CLASSIC and then close (turn off) DVDDecrypter before starting CLASSIC)

This seems to be a "long-winded way of doing somethiing, but is actually less so, than some other ways. And, is all freeware, and after 2 to 3 burns, is very easy to use. Many persons using this method for very good burns.
