MP3 vs. Nero MP4

Alright I just got the Nero V6 Ultra Edition.

I notice there is a new feature. MP4 encoding/ Nero Digital Audio File

Does anyone know what is better with the MP4 I can't hear a difference to be honest with you against a 192kbps mp3 vs. a 192kbps mp4

nero digital uses aac (as apples itunes) for audio compression

aac is far better than mp3, have a look here for a quality comparison @ 128kbps:

also note that the use qma codec is wma9 pro, which is a totally different codec than the normal wma9 codec, which is used in some music stores and supported on some cd players

Hmm, I might be overly simplistic here but from those graphs I'd have said MP3 had a definite edge over AAC?

I do have a vested interest here though as I recently bought the SoundBlaster MP3Blaster

well lame is the best mp3 codec and it was definitely voted much worse than aac and vorbis for example (note that mpc is not mp3 of course)
