You will either need a video capture card installed internally, an external capture device, or a DV Camera with analog input capability...and the capture software that comes with whatever method you buy. Go sniff around a video store.

I am looking for the best way to go about this as well but am also interested in TV capture. I currently have an ATI 9600xt graphics card and am wondering if I would be better off getting one of the All-In-Wonder cards or adding a PCI TV/capture card. Would the PCI perform as well as AGP or is there an external device that would be even better? Any suggestions would be great.

I have the ATI AIW 9000pro and it works great at capturing to full dvd/mpeg2. check here for more info www.lordsmurf.com
