    Video Capture

i dont know if this is the place to ask this but i might get some feedback anyhow.

i have an ati9800xt with xp1800+ running winxp pro and another system that has a geforce 2 gts (with VIVO) and the proc = p2 400 but does have a 7200 rpm hard drive and its running win98

usually when i want to video capture a game i use fraps2 (but its really hurting my video quality) with its encoder.
now the encoder encodes to wmv format with little compressions so it can stay fast and not slow down the games fps

anyhow would it be better to hook my 2nd output on my 9800xt to the VIVO input on the geforce2 and just record it there
being better i mean would it keep my games fps higher and would the video quality be better for later on i can encode it to an avi
    thanks
also what software would i use to capture for the geforce 2 gts (gladiac) model from elsa

get a JVC HR-DVS3U and connect the computer output to the input of the deck and record to mini dv. Pricey solution but it works.
