Video Capture with video card

i have an ati9800 (s-video) out going to a geforce2 (vivo)
im using nvidias WDM (universl) vivo capture drivers (2.2)

the problem is no matter what software capture app i use when the video is streaming not even recording it looks like its interlaced (like my monitor is going out) blurred or fuzzy.

geforce2 cpu = win98
ati 9800xt = winxp

im not sure what i need to do because its working its jst that it looks pretty bad

not sure if its on the ati cpu or the geforce side

Can you plug the S-video connection into something else... like a TV, and see if that looks bad as well? What are you outputting, and with what software?
