Problems with "choppiness"

I watch alot of mpg and mov files(such as anime) and whenever i play it it goes choppy (here is a photo to show what i am talking about)



I was told this is an overlay problem but everything i do to fix it never works.

I have installed and reinstalled QT multiple times.

I have even rolled back my vid drivers.I have never had this problem up till now so i am not sure what is going on.

So any help available would be grateful.

Since it worked before you have to ask what did you do just before it started to act up. You probably have a Codec or viewer conflicting...have you installed any recently?

I tried to install OpenGL on it but had to delete it. Also my vid drivers did not update properly. other than that no.

During that failed install a driver or something must have replaced an existing driver and wasn't deleted because it was a common file used by other programs...like QT. If you have XP do a restore to a time before you did that installation and see what happens.
