failed to initialize aspi device

Please help!

I installed dvd shrink and the problem I'm having is that I receive this message when trying to start the dvd: "failed to initialize aspi device".

win98se 733 piii.

I have easy cd creator installed and when I uninstall cd creator I end up with the same message.

What am I missing here???

Sounds like you've corrupted your ASPI "layer" file.

Do a Googlesearch for, and then download and install "ForceASPI".
