Video formats

does anyong know of a program that when run on a video file of unknown format, will tell what it is.
E.G. VCD format or SVCD or DIVX, mpeg1,2, etc.

When you down load a file is and you want to create a CD etc it would be nice to know what format your starting with.

The first thing that you should always try is, from within Explorer, rightclick on the filename and select "Properties", Then click on the "Details" tab.
