    Help on MPEG file!!!!!!!!

I downloaded some mpeg's some time ago and when I played them on every player I have on my computer, they run smoothly and correctly for some seconds and then freezes at the end of the timeline but there's more sound and video after that. I have tried with some editors and other programs but none seems to fix the file to the total lenght of the file.
Has anybody ever had this problem, does anyone know how to fix it?

"they run smoothly and correctly for some seconds and then freezes at the end of the timeline but there's more sound and video after that."

Please clarify - if it "freezes" (stops completely), what do you mean by, "there's more sound and video after that"? Are you assuming that there should be more sound and video?

You could examine the file in TMPGEnc as follows:

    File>>MPEGTools>>Merge&Cut

    Load your file

    Doubleclick on your filename

Check out the file by moving the slider to various positions in the timeline.
