    Shrieking audio problem

Having problems with the audio when creating movies from avi files. The original avi files from a digital camera play fine in WMM and ShowBiz however once a they are made into a movie, the audio is a piercing shriek on playback. I've substituted a separate mp3 music track with the same avi files and they work out fine upon playback.

I've checked the codecs, reinstalled everything.

Thanks for any help in advance.

      shrieking nuts

No sorry. I suspect the problem may be with the CRAM codec though I've reinstalled it many times with no changes. I was able to create my video on my older - slower laptop successfully. I noticed the encoding format options on both computers were different within Showbiz so I suspect the software takes an inventory of your system first.

      Good luck.
