smi,idx,sub,ssa,ass,srt extensions

hi, I am facing a big problem. I have a site where I use mid files for music.Now the problem is I am getting lots of entries for the music files in my error log, but all r with smi,idx,sub,srt,ssa,ass extensions which I never use.I have checked those files in my server and I found all of them do exist but with mid extension.and all of them r perfectly ok.then why these extensions r coming in log file when I dont use them? and what r they?? or which software uses these files??

smi idxc i don't know but the other are subtitle formats
