    Audio Streams

Hi all, this is my first post to this forum so lets hope somebody can help. When I copy a DVD withh DVD shrinkv 3.1 the audio stream that comes through is in a foreign language. I can click on the preview screan and it gives me the option to change to English, the default being in Check. If I play the copy through Inter Video Win DVD the Audio stream defaults to Check with no obviouse method of reverting to English. How do I set the default audio stream to English.

    In antisipation

I'd suggest you learn how to access the WinDVD (floating) menu - so you can select the desired language stream...

Hey, thanks for your reply, I have now learned that not all DVD play back software can give you the same results. The problem I encountered was that WinDVD treats menues as if they are graphics, and as such not interactive. Using the same Video_TS file that Win DVD could not open correctly I used PowerDVD and the copy DVD works great, both on PC and DVD stand alone player.

Just to follow up, are DVD commercial producers setting default language streams to minority languages as an extra security feature?

          This is not correct.

Once again, I'd suggest that you learn how to use WinDVD properly, rather than presuming to know of shortcomings. Try clicking on the "Help" dropdown menu for a start toward understanding the software's capabilities...
