How to convert DivX file to MPEG-1

    Hi ,
I have a file with Extension Temp.divX].avi.I am able to see this file with DivX player.Properties of this file are

    Audio:
Audio Format : MPEG Layer -3
    Average Data rate 23.964 kb/second
    Sample Rate 44.100kHz
    Channels 2(Stereo)

    Video:
    Stream name Temp[DivX].avi Video#1
    Frame width 720 pixels
    Frame height 416 pixels
    play length 4943.396 seconds

    Frame count 118523

    Frame rate 23.976 frames/second
    Data rate 124.494 kb/second
    Video sample size 24 bit
    Video compression DIVXMPG4 V3

Now I have downloded TMPGEnc software to encode and Nero Burnig Rom 5.5 to burn CD.

When I convert temp[DivX].avi I have tryied loding videoCD(NTSCFilm).mcf then burned in to CD as a Video CD.It was created DAT file and tryied to run in DVD player. But sometimes I have some abnormal sounds and picture jumpings.

So now I tryied to Encode same temp[DivX].avi file with loding DVD9NTSC).mcf.Now if i see the settings all settings are grayed out and showing like this.

    Stream Type MPEG -2 Video
    Size 720 X 480
    Frame rate 29.97fps

Now if try to bur the CD i am getting message like It is not supported for CD's.It needs MPEG-1 which has encoded for CD's.
    Audio 44.1kHz,Stero 224 kBits/s
    Video 352X240/29.97Hz

    Saying the Following problems Found:

Stream encoding which is invalid for creating video CD
    Invalid Video Stream 29.97 frames/second,720X480
    Invalid audio stream 48000Hz,2 channels

Finally giving 2 options like turn off standard compilience and continue and reencode the video file.If I choose first one it didn't play in DVD.If i choose second one I am not able to change settings in software as it is Demp version.

I really appreciate if you can give me some solution.I still need to encode this file with DVD(NTSC).mcf file.Because quality od picture and Audio is very good.

I spend(SUNDAY) whole day to solve this problem

    Best Regards.

I'm kind of tired right now, but the way i get it you've encoded
the file temp.divx to a mpeg-2 file the last time..

if this is the case then you should burn with the SVCD format..

    i think =))
