avi file is o.k but after converting to mpg on tmpgenc audio is out of sync

I downloaded this file and the audio played out of sync, I uninstalled the nimo codec pac and the avi started playing out of sync, then I proceeded to make and avi file with uncompressed audio on virtual dub this file plays o.k always that the nimo codec pack is uninstalled but when I try to convert this file into Mpeg on tmpgenc plus 2.5 for burning to vcd the mpeg always have audio out of sync.....

does anyone have any idea of what the problem is or how can I solve it..... I´ll really appreciatte any help

You can sync it up in TMPGenc by going to settings>>advanced>>source range and finding the "audio correction" box. Correct by + if voice before video and - if , test in 200 msec increments (hint...1 sec= 1000msec). Only test enough video to run past a scene with lip movement to check until you get it right.
