mp4 issues - help!

I am desperately seeking help with converting an MP4 file generated from a capture card into another format such as .MOV or .AVI - is there some software out there that does this?

Try VirtualDubMod. It will work for AVIs, but will not convert to .MOV.

If no success with Ormonde's suggestion, open one of your files in G Spot and post here what 'File Info' reports.

i assume that you mean a file with a .mp4 extension? if yes, may i ask you which capture card outputs such files?

to convert .mp4 files to .avi you can use mp4ui or the 3ivx dshow filters in graphedit
